Incoming messages lost after being "Submitted to Catagorizer"
We are running Exchange Server 2003 and have an intermittent problem with incoming e-mail to certain addresses not getting through. Tracking these messages using Message Tracking Center, they get as far as "Message Submitted to Categorizer" and then ... nothing. If I send a outbound message to the same person and they reply, we do get the reply. I have seen several posts related to the messages being stopped at this point, but nothing that matches our issue. Are you using any kind of spam or virus filter on this server? Do you receive an NDR? Have you tried changing the diagnostics logging level for MSExchangeTransport to see if it generates any errors? To change diagnostics logging level: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821910
